Květen je vhodná doba na zpracování libečku, např. naložením do soli:<br>
Nať opláchnout, zbavit stonků, najemno nakrájet nebo nasekat v mixeru, promíchat se solí (na 100 g libečku 25 g soli) a nechat asi hodinu proležet. Potom napěchovat do skleničky a povrch ještě zasypat solí. Použití do polévek místo soli a maggi (chvíli povařit).<br>
